On the 8th of August 1967 the company Contiforme – Papel Contínuo e Formulários, S.A.R.L. was created. It was the first Portuguese company that produced forms.

In 1980 the standardized Portuguese cheque was introduced by the Bank of Portugal. Contiforme was, from that point onwards, a certified producer.

After the concept and the practice of Global Cheques Outsourcing were introduced in Portugal in 1989, Contiforme also innovates in 1991 with the Global Cards Outsourcing.

In 1990, the factory complex Contiforme with 22 000 sqm/13 000 sqm of covered area was inaugurated.

In 2009, three distinct areas are created:

In 2010, the spin-off operation of the brand CONTITECH was performed, giving birth to Contisystems.

In 2014, implementation of the first Customer Communications Management solution was made.

In 2015, Contiforme and Contisystems were merged under the name of Contisystems.

In 2017, Contisystems was held by new private investors in the year it celebrated 50 years.

Contisystems has its Information Security System certified according to the ISO / IEC 27001 standard.

On November 6, 2020, Contisystems launches Unicks, which becomes the face of our Customer Communication Management business.

On October 8, 2021, Contisystems creates Merece – the Business Movement for the Recycling of Cards with Electronic Components, with which intends to mobilize card issuers to promote an ecologically responsible end of life for unused cards.

In December 2022, we created Cyberadvisor, a cybersecurity consultancy service supported by more than a decade of experience in processing sensitive data.

At the beginning of 2023, Contisystems was officially acquired by MailComms Group, leader in the Spanish market for customer communication services.
