Changes to the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Contisystems S.A. hereby informs you that Pedro Caravana has stepped down as CEO and Director of Contisystems and has been replaced by Duarte Conceição, who was CTO and deputy CEO of the company.
With a degree in Information Systems Management, a post-graduate degree in Project Management and an MBA from Universidade Nova-Católica, Duarte Conceição began his professional career as a programmer at Altran and joined Contiforme in 2001 to lead technology projects in the banking sector, as well as the Portuguese Parliament's first digital certification project. Between 2002 and 2004 he managed the @DAN project for the European Commission in the area of secure payments for mobile devices. In 2009 he was invited to lead the spin-off of the development area that gave rise to Contisystems, a company focused on software in the IoT and RFID areas. In 2015 Contiforme and Contisystems merged their activities and from that date he took over as the company's CTO. In January 2017 he was appointed Executive Director at Contisystems.
We are sure that Duarte and the rest of the management team, in a policy of continuity, will have the greatest success in their mission to ensure that we are the fastest and most reliable end-to-end provider of personalized products and services for communicating with Customers, thus ensuring that we deliver the best products and services to our Customers.
Pedro Caravana will continue to work with Contisystems as an independent consultant in the areas of CCM, digital transformation and postal optimization for foreign markets.
