QMS Technician

We are currently looking to strengthen our team with a QHSE Technician, who will play an active role in maintaining, improving, and developing our management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management Systems, ensuring their compliance and continuous improvement;
• Plan, conduct, and monitor internal audits, as well as assist with external audits;
• Monitor nonconformities, customer complaints, risks, and internal incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions;
• Investigate workplace accidents and environmental incidents, identifying root causes and preventive measures;
• Develop and promote training and awareness-raising initiatives in the areas of Quality, Environment, and Occupational Safety and Health;
• Monitor maintenance and inspection plans for safety equipment, coordinating with external entities;
• Ensure coordination with the external entity responsible for occupational safety and health services;
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
• Develop, review, and monitor management system documentation (procedures, manuals, plans, and records);
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support their implementation.

Desired Profile

• A college degree, technical-vocational degree, or equivalent in a relevant field;
• Experience with certified management systems and active participation in audits;
• Knowledge of and/or training in the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards ;
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the areas of Quality, Environment, and Occupational Safety and Health;
• Ability to analyze, plan, and solve problems;
• A critical mindset and a focus on continuous improvement;
• Independent, proactive, and resilient;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• A passion for teamwork;
• Willingness to work on-site.
